Awe Daisy Hope he recovers fast and is not in to much pain, our driver punchered his lung last year when he slipped in the shower, broke a rib and punchered his lung, he's fine now but it took a few weeks to heal.

Marion your flowers look lovely and Joyce's too, I didn't get chance to take pictures as my mum & brother come visiting which was nice ?

  • A lovely afternoon clearing leaves, and picking moss out of my Dad's little saxifrages, accompanied by the song of the robin and the sweet scent of the Sarcococca.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Not promised sunshine today in the forecast but then it was a surprise yesterday!  Only 3 degrees this morning and forecast for 6 but dry so may get the green wheeliebin filled again and some pics taken.  My friend of the tiny garden in Bristol has more crocuses in flower - this time Zwanenburg Bronze and I spy a small purple one .

Got a lot done in the garden and took pics.  my snowdrops are very promiscuous and have offspring all over the garden now  The £10 bulb of Galanthus elwesii "Colossus" must have been a favourite with the bees as their are giants head and shoulders above the others all over the place. What a stud!  One of these days I will spend a few hours searching for a new variety among my many thousands of plants now.  The variety called " Trym" was found in a garden in Westbury on Trym just a mile from me.  So I live in snowdrop country (or in my case "city")
