I'm thinking of going for 3 in a pot for the sweet peas this year Fairy - I think they'll do much better with no chance of root disturbance.

I may well do the same with the Morning Glories.

I grow them in 9cm pots, I'm greedy and stick 5 in a pot , them plant the whole thing.

I tend to plant direct  in April most of the time, but sticking a few in small pots a little earlier is nice and easy, although they don't mature any quicker here because of the weather.

It works well for me Dove - I know they like their roots deep, but I usually get them planted out as soon as the roots are coming through the bottom, because they're not sown too early.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Can't find deep enough pots here and no root trainers so loo rolls and goblets it is.

    Evening all.

Managed a few hours studying today, still finding it hard to concentrate, and I now know why I didn't do maths A-level!

Also managed to go to GC and buy some seed compost and Vermiculite, so I will be ready to start later this month.

Now sitting with a G@T listening to OH sniffle.
