I see it's to be cold in Newcastle today. Does that mean young women might put a t shirt over their underwear? image

Cold wind here yesterday and more today I think. Dry though so, every cloud and all that. image

I think doc's very brave doing his OU course. I'd take my hat off, but I might need it today.

It was the windchill yesterday that was the issue here Dove. The mercury said 6 or summat when I was coming home, but it was a good four or five degrees colder with it. At least there was no rain with it!

No dozing now - you have a busy day ahead image

    I'll get me coat...literally  image

Hello everyone. It's been a variable weather day today - coolish in the morning, but got hot later, so the good old air con has been back on.

Hubby has had a full day. He needed to get up at 6am to go down to the fire shed for setting up the annual Australia Day Fire Brigade BBQ. He got home about 12.30, had a shower and cuppa, sat down for a few minutes, then the phone rang. There was a fire at Bunyan on the air strip used by gliders (the ones pulled up by planes and then let go, not hang gliders).  He eventually got home about 6.30pm. Black hands etc. another shower,  and while I received a phone call from a neighbour, he jumped in and started cooking dinner, which I was planning on doing. image I suppose he'll sleep well tonight.

Our son went home this morning.

    Morning all.

A day indoors methinks. It's blowin' a gale out there and looks freezin' to boot.

As I'm still technically on holiday, I reckon I can justify sitting on my backside for a day ( apart from unloading some timber being delivered later )

I saw Steve TGV posted on another thread last night. If you're a round Steve, pop in and say hello. You've been missed.
