Mmmm - crab, partridge and pheasant - love all 3 BL - in that order of preference. Could supply a rather nice dry white....image

Do you have a pear tree for the partridge BL ? image

Crab and pheasant too T'bird ....image

Never had partridge. There's plenty of 'em up at Glenshee. Think they're fairly safe just now with the weather though  image

Never too late for lunch fidget image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Fairy - Partridge is like the very best chicken you've ever had - a tad gamier - and absolutely delicious with bacon, bread sauce & all the trimmings. I am hungry now....image

We'll watch it tomorrow on Catch-up. Think we'll watch Unforgotten tonight.

Having a ready meal beef stew from M&S tonight with a bottle of red.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I'm awake early. The window has been open all night and now the morning sun is beaming in brightly, so it's hard to keep eyes shut. Also, there is a bird somewhere out there who is making a loud clear one-toned repeat pattern which goes right through our heads. Don't know what it is, but it's very annoying.image

even HRH has been out for an early twinkle, and she's deaf, so it must be the light. 6.45am is a bit early for a pair of retirees.

GWRS. I'm not into eating kangaroo  Although when we lived in Darwin, we used to buy kangaroo meat from the pet shop for dog food. We live too close to our kangaroos here. It'd be like eating dog for me. I'm glad you enjoyed it though.image

    Morning all.

    Awake since 4am. tsk.

Came down to reception to log on . No joy. Same for about 3 days now.  Guy behind the counter says " you know the password has changed?" Erm no, why didn't anyone tell us?

    "there may be trouble ahead"

Not caught up, but well done DD. As others have said, you've done it once, next time it'll be much easier. You're in control of your life now. Not him. Lots of love to you.

Panic message on voicemail yesterday. Called home, burglar alarm went off . Tenant in garage flat sorted it with the guy from locksmith where Hubby works. Then my new car went missing. He called police etc. I forgot to tell him the garage were going to be collecting it when I was away image
