Gorgeous trees everyone. Mine is still in the garage. Will send a pic when I've done it.

A few people have mentioned another decorations thread. This could be it, if anyone wants a look. http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/the-potting-shed/christmas-decorations/990428.html

    Enjoy yoursELVES Missy Krissy! (sorry...)

I must admit, since getting the tree up I've felt much more Christmassy, which is helping me to get on with everything else that needs doing. I was in denial before, I think.

We always used to decorate the tree on the 13th, today, as it was first OH's (died) birthday. If it was a working and school day I'd set it up with the lights and when OH came home we'd put the baubles on it. Now we do it a few days later, 2nd OH and me.

    Love your tree Missy K.

My OH just discovered the 'flashing lights' mode on the fairy lights - not very relaxing!

Will be picking some Holly tomorrow to finish my other decorations.

  • Flashing lights... I think they divide the nation!

Thank you Aunty Rach! Also finishing off today...we've turned the garage into a make-shift dining room as we have visitors for the festivities (we currently have nowhere other than our laps to eat our Christmas lunch!) so we have that to decorate today... Picked loads of holly, ivy and yew yesterday so will be using that - going for a Tudor feel in there!)... Feels like an enormous task this morning!  One more coffee should spur one into action... image

That is a fab idea re garage-diner! Love a make-shift gathering complete with 'emergency chairs'!

A bit of greenery always pimps-up the festive feel.
