Thank yous to Ladybird, Aym, Muddle-Up & others of their ilk. {btw: *The blue thing isn't a sparkly sock - it's a sidewayson (shop bought) tinselly star late of time from x & x, [like A & P but different spelling]}.
More pics some time soon (dv),with 2016 editions in course of fabrication....
I love seeing all the different styles of trees and decorations. Family tradition or personal taste? I think I have moved away from my father's trees. One thing that is family is that it is always the spouse from our family amidst all the aunts/uncles/sisters etc. who is in charge of the tree-- and who move ornaments to places they look better. My aunt-by-marriage used to complain: who would move an ornament put up by a 4 year old? Playpen is a great idea, claire. My sister could have used one. One year her dog kept stealing presents and taking them down to the bottom of the garden to chew on.
I'm liking the eclectic *Scandiness etc of your tree, Aunty Rach. *We included overstuffed objets based on felted cutout patterns from the moment our (now 38 yo) son took an 'active' interest - he helped his mum stuff them with unused nappy liners!!

Nothing happening inside yet - but we have a tree in our front garden which is gaily
adourned. I love the wreath Rhod, it looks very professional.
