    Just popping in before bed.

Happy birthday Hosta. Have you seen the birthday thread?
Hope Liri got home safely. Welcome Glenys. Hope Mr Fidget manages to sleep well tonight. And Hosta too.

I'm so pleased you are enjoying your job Wonky.

    Good night all.

  • Thanks BL - yes, bit of a holdup (vehicle hit bridge causing train delays) but home now, under the cat. Time for bed...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Evening all.  Easy journey apart from bits of fog here and; of course, rain when we hit Belgium.

Kittens mostly good on the journey apart from a bot of "helping" in a queue at some lights.

Took the pic and then got them back on my lap to help with CDs instead.   They are now exploring Possum's apartment with absolutely no shyness.

Hosta - gorgeous turtles.  Happy birthday.

Liri - lovely photo.  No wonder you were reluctant to leave.

Wonky - sounds like a great week.  So pleased you're enjoying it.

Fidget - hope OH really is OK.  Happy car hunting.

    Sweet dreams all.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

  • G'day Pat image  It milder than of late - no frost here in Norfolk. The sky is overcast but it's brightening in the west.

Dry and frost free Pat but still dark.  I hope it's not too hot for you and that you can do a bit of pottering outside.

No outside stuff, Dove. Can't take the heat. I've been colouring in and doing jigsaws . Very lazy and unhealthy, but it can't be helped. I'll make it up when things cool down. There might be rain in the next week, but we can't depend on forecasts.

Hubby can handle the heat and spent some time getting the sprinkler system back into working order on the lavender rows. They like hot and dry, but there is a limit, and they were looking rather bad. We've lost some plants, I think, but I can't let myself get upset about it.
