I think she's just taking a break, Lizzie. She was having trouble with her wrists, I believe, and finding it hard to write posts. I think Dove has been in contact with her...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Liri....such an interesting range of pics......coastal and mountain scenes. Detailed window screens, "Manhole" cover, door fittings etc give added interest when walking about.
For those who don't visit the Forkers' thread, some pics form a trip to Paris last week. Grey, grey, grey skies and buildings but at least it was dry after all the rain that flooded the Seine.
Sacré Coeur on Montmartre
Seine in flood up to the tops of the lamp posts on its banks
Time to make this a green island with no cars and lots of plants rather than a race track
View from the roof of Galeries Lafayette main building
Notre Dame - note to self, stick to just one or two colours for bedding primulas
Arc de Triomphe in the distance thru ferris wheel and Louvre archway
Eiffel tower at night - no boat trips till the river goes down a few metres
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

These structures were formed around about 433,million yrs ago, Turbidites caused when large avalanches of loose sediment rolled down the edge of the continental shelf and gouged out the sediments underneath. Since then the continents have drifted north ended up in the Sedgwick area and
in the long process tipped about and eventually left exposed on the hillside. These are particularly good examples.

Thanks, Pat. You'll recognise some of these from the jigsaw site!
Beautiful pictures, Liri...love the volcanic ones.
Have I missed something regarding, Fairy...has she stopped using the forum?

Thanks Joyce - pleased you enjoyed them.
Lovely pics Liri. Love the detail in the doors and windows and very varied scenery. Thanks.

Very interesting, Iamweedy. My parents lived in Sedbergh for a long time, and my dad loved exploring the rocks exposed in the stream valleys around.
I've never been to Paris, Obelixx. Judging by your photos it's time I put it on the list...
