Can't remember what I added....think it was along the lines of - great weather, great views, the hill to myself with just the sound of buzzards, grouse and pheasants, and then Regina Spektor to listen to in the car. Happy days
Glad you like them Pat
The weather was superb for walking Joyce. It was more like spring - certainly above zero along the top as there wasn't much wind. Only had a jacket on after doing pix at the summit when I started to cool down. Although it's a long way to go, I'd like to return when there's some snow. The corries look stunning in other people's walk reports whne there's a bit of the white stuff
Those bunnies can shift.....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
All your pictures are amazing fairygirl - the views and clarity are brilliant, my favourites are the last two pictures of the sky and the first picture of the pheasant. You are so lucky to be able to jump into your car and drive to this gorgeous setting.
I'm very lucky GD. I don't always think so when I'm getting up at 6am, but when you get a good day, there's never any regrets. All that good, clean Scottish air
It was still dark driving through Stirling, and the castle and the Wallace monument looked lovely all lit up - same on the way home as it was after 4pm. Pity there's nowhere to easily stop along that road for a pic.
I could see beyond the Lochnagar hills to a couple of the big 'uns in the north east Cairngorms, and they had a good bit of snow on them, but the camera isn't powerful enough to pick them up. The forecast for all the western and central hills was wall to wall fog, so I was being selective to try and get the best day.
I hope I can continue to do it for a good while yet. The new poles had a good outing too

Amazing photos, Fairy. Your energy amazes me.
Looks like you had a good day Fairy. Plenty of wildlife around too
Good that you were as quick as the hare
Ooh - that post must have been a bit too long

Mount Keen maybe an easy Munro fg, but a long walk in up Glen Tanar, as I remember it. Should have cycled the first bit.
When you don't even know who's in the team
S.Yorkshire/Derbyshire border
It is a bit of a schlepp doc. I don't do bikes so it's only Shanks's Pony wherever I go
A good one for youngsters to start with though. The Queen's Well's quite an odd feature too
