  • I'm loving all those tree-iffic floral and birdie pictures! Just shows that there's a lot to give pleasure in gardens even in the 'depths' of Winter!! *Rather too, too wet of late in West Wales for decent pictures BUT I'll take a waterproof camera out with me tomorrow & see what we can find - promise!

  • Thank you  David ?. Looking forward to your pictures.

There's more time in winter to notice and appreciate the birds and anything that is or about to flower in the garden.

Lovely bird photos, I can never get close enough and my camera doesn't have a good enough zoom.

Here is my garden looking gloomy in winter, but when I see all the patches of bare earth I think of the tulips and daffodils that I've planted.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Looking good Busy ?. Our garden is still awash with leaves....(builders bags been filled a few times now)) but hopefully another week and they should have all dropped....I hope!

i have the birdbath not far from the kitchen door and I've been sitting the  GoPro on  top of a plant pot for around 30 minutes then bring it in, load them into laptop and crop. Just love the birds and we have had the same birds for a couple of years here, all through the year ?. There a pleasure to watch

Oh Busy, it looks quite bare now after seeing your glorious borders in summer and autumn. Look forward to seeing your spring flowers.
