  • DD - that's brilliant - would you be kind enough to do some running on my behalf too - silly for both of us to do it  and it'd save me the bother - I could do something else, like making jelly image

and Fairy,  you could do my h****work and I'll plant bulbs for you image  Teamwork!!!

((lots of hugs)) for Bushman and others in need of them

    Anyone seen Plantpauper lately ...

Sounds good Dove...errrr....I have to go and get my hair cut though, and I have tea to drink, and a Scandi drama to catch up on, so I might not manage all the hoovering and dusting....image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi all, just waiting for dinner - corned beef and vegs, plus I can smell Hubby's home-made mustard sauce.  Hmmm. image

Im hoping our regular visitor doesn't turn up tonight. I think we need a break from her turning up unannounced whenever it suits her. image

    Have a good one everybody.

Switch all the lights off and hide, Pat. Or put loud music on and then you can say you didn't hear the doorbell.. image

Morning all image  It's going to be an inside  day here due to weather.

Fairy, the howling wind woke me frequently image

DD, the thought of a marathon is exhausting. . . . . . that and your tea room plans will keep you going.image

Pat, can you all sit in the dark this evening to avoid "you know who"? image

Oh you lot!  Hubby says we are always in the dark?   Funny b..g.er!

it wouldnt stop her, she'd still wander around the back and sniff around. Probably the cat or dog would give us away.

    dinner as VERY good.

    TV time now.image

    Morning all.

Cloudy and very blowy this morning.

Had a nice run out yesterday . Clear skies and not too busy on the roads.

Last customer of the day had an old millhouse. Not a fab house, but massive old wheel which one day he might restore , but the view!!!!

Get out your atlas folk . He could see all the way South to Torquay and could see to Lundy and beyond in the North. Just about the best view I've ever seen.

Home  in time for GW. What was the giant carrot all about? I mean, ok, so it's big, but what would you do with them? I'd certainly think they were more useful for furniture than soup. Each to his own and all that, but what a waste of time IMHO.

Hoping the weather isn't stopping folk doing whatever it is they want to.

    Devon.
  • That view sounds fabulous Hosta image  Glad you had a good day.

At least the giant carrots etc kept him occupied - his wife only had to turn up to help with the harvesting - she's probably really pleased that he has a hobby image

Weather?  Gorgeous here Hosta - light breeze, blue skies and sunshine ... sorry image
