Good evening everybody , lovely sunny day , been to Doncaster to see friend of o/h who does a mega Macmillan coffee morning each year , it is next Friday , we can't go so took over bits and pieces
Bushman , I would have thought you would need to try both to decide your preference of the 2 Malts that Dovefromeabove is offering - CHEEERS
Hope everybody is well and looking forward to weekend , forecast is good for Lincoln so planning to go to Allotment
There I was, packing the contents of an attic wardrobe which included my wedding dress - simple affair of silk from Liberties. Just for a laugh I decided to measure the waist - 67cms! Crikey!! These days it is considerably more. Have told OH that once we get past the first week of the move there are to be no more cakes, chocs, treats, croissants and lots of walks till I shed some blubber and get fit again.
The end is in sight. Nearly done all we can before they arrive with larger cartons and their specias stuff for breakables. Still no gardening but 'll do some on Monday.
Enjoy SCD - those who love it like me.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I have just the one. Told OH I wasn't getting married again whatever happened! Not good at weddings.
We've owned the new house since mid July so have already been down with beds, fridge, combi microwave, coffee machine and loo rolls and our bedroom is already painted so will be a haven of tranquility while we settle in.
Went to dance clas shere for the last time to say goodbye. Flipping nippy. Gorgeous deep blue sky and lots of stars so very fresh and chilly.

We actually managed a clear sunny day here. Son did a big load of washing (from his trip) and it's almost all back inside now at 2pm. Pixel is starting to smooch up to him, so it seems as though she's forgiven him for deserting her.
A special big hug for Bushman, sounds like you need it and I'm sure Dove's spirits could help too.
Weather quite nice here, just seen the UK forecast, Scotland doesn't look too clever, particularly on one side. I think if you have nice weather today you need to make the most of it wherever you are.
Went to the gym last night (a village group really that just do a keep fit class and some rambling together), anyway they had the AGM after class. Suddenly all sorts of people came out the woodwork, all feeling enthused I think after the big deal that is made of La Rentrée, including the mairie. I wasn't expecting it but my role of 'coach' for the jogging club was highly praised and all were encouraged to join, not quite what I had in mind when I started leading just half a dozen ladies. Then, no pressure but everyone was encouraged to support and follow me in my bid to complete the Paris Marathon in April next year. All very well, except I had only mentioned to one person that I was thinking about doing it - I certainly hadn't enrolled - well after the great round of applause, cheers and pats on the back from everyone - even an offer of accommodation in Paris, looks like I am doing it. How did that happen?
So, today, have housework to do, , i*****g, and then need to get my running shoes on a start the preparations for the Paris Marathon in April 2017.
Have a good day everyone, enjoy your coffee/tea Clari, but steady away.

Morning all/afties Pat - no washing going out today here! Glad son is back and cat is having 'quality' time with him
DD - you've been 'volunteered' so you'll have to do it! Oops
Don't think I'll be planting any bulbs ...unless I can find something to be inside to do it. It's a bit calmer at the moment though. Hideous howly wind last night. Glad I got a little bit done yesterday before it started.
I might have to do h****work today...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

No cakes or malt whisky for me.

Don't forget the toilet roll GWRS! Never move house without emergency toilet roll handy.
I've had to go back on water; tea was giving me funny effects! *twitch*
Took the hound on a 2 hour stroll through the countryside this evening. Ended up in another county! We'll all sleep well tonight.
I have two wedding dresses, 36 years apart. Not the same size!!!
