Ah well. All over for another 4 years but what an incredible performance by the members of Team GB. One or two who failed to deliver on hopes and expectations, but that's the nature of sport.
It will be interesting to see how the Paralympics goes with all the cutbacks.
Just trying to think about my favourite memory of the games, very difficult to pick one, but I am going for, the kiss between Kenny and Trott, after the mens Keirin.
What is yours?
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I wouldn't say it's my favourite moment, far too many to choose just one, but as an example of what the Olympics mean it has to be the interview with Lutalo Mohammad immediately after his Taekwondo final.
The guy was utterly devastated but still did the interview. I don't think I would have been able to do it.
Too many for me to choose. Nick Skelton certainly, and all the 'history making' and multi medals in all sorts of sports, but some of the failures, the really unexpected successes, and great sportsmanship made for marvellous viewing too.
The runner who helped another girl who was actually quite badly injured, was really moving. They both received the de Coubertin medal.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Just the one moment Pdoc?
Can I have two ......................... please?
Mo Farah's grin when his fished his 10,000m gold medal out of his pocket and put it around his neck to go with the 5,000m one
and
Nick Skelton's quivering chin during his Gold Medal ceremony.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Nick Skelton for me too and Andy Murray's Gold.
No cheating Dove.
I have at least a dozen, but that would be making it too easy.
All those mentioned were on my list too.
Something about Andy Murray, he just loves competing for his country, Davis Cup, Olympics, bring out the best in him.

My favourites were Charlotte Dujardin and Nick Skelton winning their gold medals. Including Nick's chin and the way he hugged his groom and his horse.
I'm with KT. You could 'feel' the poor guy's agony.
Favourite moments for me were Andy Murrays win (oh the tension) and Max Whitlocks golds .....just so unexpected. But loved it all really
