At the risk of sounding like Chandler from Friends - Could it have been any more exciting?
Woke up just in time to see it - my subconscious must have been tuned in! The girls were fabulous too. What a team the Brits have been
I have a little 'thing' for the Marathon. One of our runners has the same name as my late Dad. It always makes me smile when I hear the commentators say it
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I woke before my alarm sounded too Fairy. Turned it off so it didn't wake OH and snuck out of the bedroom quietly, then a gust of wind from the open windows caught a door on the landing and slammed it shut , waking him up And he had to get up to go to work today as a colleague is on holiday.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Bit strange how some runners were disqualified and then reinstated. How upsetting for them. I know the eventual outcome was good but it must have taken the shine off their 'moment'. I am going to miss all the wonderful sports coverage after the Paralympics but the garden really needs some attention - oh drat its raining again! My thumb has got RSI after all the channel hopping.

It hasn't been amateur for many years. For example, Usain Bolt earned over 30 million dollars in 2015.
Shows how much attention I pay
