Morning all/afties Pat if you're about.

Hideous windy night here - kept me awake so not a good night's sleep. Doesn't appear to be any damage though thankfully.

However, a great night for Britain with young Adam Peaty. Class act.  What a terrific role model.  image

Work for me too so I'll have a quick look round before I head out.

    Have a good day everyone.

Have a good journey home Hosta  - shame about last night image  i find that really busy hotels are rarely good places to sleep unless they're at least 4 star.

Jolly windy overnight, but still quite warm and sticky.

Relieved to hear that Dutch cyclist is reasonably ok after that horrendous crash. I thought she must've broken her neck at the very least!image  Chris Boardman said that he thought the course was dangerous

Yes - Chris Boardman was quite restrained wasn't he? I can imagine what he said off camera...image

    Morning all.

After a day without sun yesterday, today is brilliantly clear and sunny. Not exactly warm, but good enough to do a few jobs outside. Makes me feel much better when I can do a few things out there.

Hosta, I don't think I could bear the conditions you reported.  Probably why we never travel anymore. Home is predictable and our bed is just right for a full nights sleep. image

    Hi all.

Wet here this morning, may put paid to plans.

Covered with bites today, after spending time in the pond yesterday. Need to start trying to clear some of the bulrushes, as can't actually see the water at the moment.

    Have a good one.

Good morning. Dry after a very wet night but the wind is still strong, will need to go walkabout and check for damage.

off to vet with pooch who is defo not right. Didn't really want any pumpkin and cous cous but as OH said "who could blame him"

must dead head, so much water in everything, for those of us north of the border I have just read that temps are due to rise by the end of the week then we are to get two weeks summer weather  Always happens when the kids go back!

    Happy Monday

Morning All, wild night but sunny and breezy now. Not the best weekend, more shenanigans at home however onwards and upwards. Coffee and a read back.
