I haven't looked at this thread for a wee while - and I've missed some beauties - @Fire and @steephill in particular. Love your pic too @Julia1983 I took this a few days ago. They've been thin on the ground this year. Their favourite plants in my garden have been late, and the weather's been a bit unkind too.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Found this in the greenhouse. It's been there all year and has grown from a little one not much bigger than the head it has now. Must have fed well. 😁 I only find it when moving tubs.
@wild edges Beyond cute @Dovefromabove Did you see the prog the other night about stoats/weasels? I eventually caught it on download/repeat. We used to have one at the last house. It ran round the conservatory along the window cill, peeking in. It also used to hide in bits of drainpipe left on the deck, when the builders were working. It was a brilliant spot for it to spy on, and catch, wabbits.

I saw the programme you mentioned @Fairygirl . That guys garden was amazing, so much work to make it animal friendly. I didn't think the baby would make it in the wild after being hand raised, no adult to learn how to hunt and bring down prey. But at least he tried.
