I didn't even have to look at the link to know what it was  @pansyface. Saw it earlier. Fabulous aren't they?

That's a brilliant result for you @CatDouch. Fingers crossed it all carries on going well.
I remember being at a train station in Windermere with my daughters, and the swallows had loads of nests under the roof of the building. I probably have a photo somewhere but I think it was pre digital. Lovely to see.
I've only got pix of various birds using the pond. The goldies were in for a drink and a bath

On my walk on Friday [An Caisteal in Glen Falloch] I met a girl near the summit who was part of the farm team gathering the sheep off the hills. She had the sharp end of the stick - having to get up there in the heat to get all the ones around the summit ridge.
I couldn't get a good video of her working the dog, while up on the top of the ridge, but I got a little one later on down in the glen when they'd almost finished - a long day for them all. It's on the camera thread.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

We have a jay which visits our windowsill in the mornings to collect an offering of nuts. Today, he/she arrived with two youngsters!

Ahh you’d better give that little Robin special rations @Fairygirl at least it’s a good identifying feature ☺️

Aaaw poor little disabled robin! I've got a starling (one of many!) with a dodgy leg - it's completely knackered but unfortunately for the bird, not removed - it sticks out at a right angle, it looks like it must be a complete nuisance! Still, he made it through winter and the tough times, I just wonder whether anyone deigned to breed with him (or her).
