    We used to get them [spiderlings] regularly on a web on a Hebe near our back door in a previous house. The girls loved seeing them and were fascinated at the way they dispersed if the plant was even lightly touched.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    How long do spiderlings take to ‘grow up’? The Solomon seal tends to get stripped by sawfly later in the summer so hopefully the spiders will be away by then.

    Hopefully one or two will grow up close by and do you a favour with those sawflies.

    Does it need mint then to lay eggs on? I do have a few pots of two types of mint in the garden.

    Mint family but I'm not sure how wide their tastes spread. I know they really like marjoram and lemon balm too.
