Made a visit to RHS Wisley today, aswell as enjoying nice displays of crocus, camelias and hellebores, we saw an impressive amount of birds. Highlight was seeing the kingfisher flying along the river, they have a bird hide and the feeders attract a good range of birds, aswell as the usual suspects we saw coal tits, nuthatch and a pair of Egyptian geese were mopping up the spill from the feeders. There was also a Red Kite flying over Hilltop.
The only time the cardinals come to the feeders in daylight is during snow storms. Other than that, it's dawn and dusk, when you can barely make them out.

My dad has rare tits He told me today when I popped in to see him but I tried to get a look at them with no luck. Now I need excuses to visit more often in the hope of seeing them without my parents thinking I'm going odd. I'm not ready to come out to them just yet and I know they'll all tease me for being a twitcher. They'd be a good one to add to my bird list this year but I'd need some good photos to see if they were Marsh or Willow.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
