What a great husband, Dewdrops. But mine does do vacuuming and washing up.

I do grow Sweet Peas, Obelixx, but sometimes I wonder why. I have a few vases in early summer then it gets to July with temps in the 30s and they start shrivelling up. But I just love the scent.

The only gardening I've done today is watering and picking runner beans. I've found that Firestorm are OK in the heat, the flowers don't drop off so much. 39° forecast for the day after tomorrow, dreading it, think I'll hibernate.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Liri, think my OH would admire yours, he sings in 2 different choirs! We have sheet music lying about here too. He also plays the piano.

I've just climbed into bed with a ... lemsip.

I've been trying to ignore this sniffle all weekend but it's quickly becoming melodramatic sniffles.

Still all the washing is done, for now, and these fresh bedsheets although unironed are lovely.

Sweet dreams all. Do keep safe x

I love fresh cotton sheets. If I was rich and had someone to do it, I would have fresh sheets every day. Unfortunately I'm a lazy cow, but they get changed every week whether they need it or not.

We've got fresh sheets on today too. Love fresh bedding. I'd have fresh ones everyday too. Love fresh flowers especially sweet peas or roses and gyp. And lilies of course.

Hi Kef good to see you. Hope you're well and building work nearly finished.

If you hear from Pdoc, give him my best wishes.  Hope to 'see' him back soon.

Still very hot here tonight, has summer arrived at last?

Clari, hope you feel bettet soon.

    Nighty night everyone x
