I was going to post this in the thread Is a Garden Hose Recyclable?, but it's probably more appropriate here. WonkyWomble mentioned using hoses as wreath bases, and that's exactly what I do with mine, and then give them away to gardening friends for spring.

Thanks, everyone - I realize the colors are bit garish, but I give them out just before Easter and everything is still dead and brown here. They bring a little cheer to the door! Here's another recycled project I did a few years back; a friend of mine is a "whimsical artist using recycled items" and has inspired me.

Did anyone see Handmade Christmas on Channel 4 yesterday? The winning jumper was out of this world. Incredible knitting. Unfortunately I can't find a photo of it online.
