They're lovely Pat, the only furry things I've made were those little kits you can buy but I have worked with faux fur and doesn't it just get everywhere when you cut it!!
Yes KP, the shop that ran the classes used to buy the "fur" and we'd buy it by the metre. It was expensive German stuff. I haven't made one for about 12 years now, I've got enough to do more.
Thanks Hazel. I really did enjoy making them, but have moved on to other activities since retiring to the property, so haven't made any for years. All of them except the one with the mauve accessories were seen by hand Stitching. The mauve one was by sewing machine.
Thankyou Hazel. I always joke to hubby about going on sewing bee but I wouldn't be any good, I take ages making things and go to pieces if someone is watching over me, lol. The contestants they have on there are so talented and quick! I've got so much to learn still, especially fitting; I have 5 sisters to practice on though Fabric is expensive so I would hope they would wear my creations .
Hi folks, I had forgotten about this thread until Pat reminded me. Some great projects and what talent.
I do a fair bit of cross stitch now and have an unfinished rag rug lurking in the cupboard that I keep promising to finish.
Used to sew and knit but have never had a go at quilting and patchwork until now. This has been keeping me busy lately. It's for my new grandson who is going into his cot bed next week.
Have his birth sampler to finish, will post a pic when it is.

I've got fur fabric stashed away too. Need someone to make a bear for... yours are lovely, Pat - such characters!
Thanks ladies. It was fun, wasn't it?
