I saw a Youtube video on embossing powders (raised, textured paint) that they can be used with regular ball point pen. Ususally you need special embossing pens with high glycerin levels. But it turns out that ball point ink has high enough levels for the powder to stick. If anyone fancies trying embossing, I can vouch that the powders go a very long way and last for years. I find the transitions very fun.
Seasons greeting to everyone passing through the crafting thread (using blue ball point pen!)
Thankyou for that info @Fire, I find I need to write quite often, people like their pets names on any pet portraits, that would be something different from my wobbly hand painted with a brush. I might have made a better job of the dragons cage too.😊
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
Embossing and stamping is a bit of a rabbit hole - so many mind boggling way to flip techniques. My mind is aching, which is probably a good thing. I've used stamping and embossing for years, but never opened them out on Youtube. Crikey. Gold embossing powder in mounds of Pritt Stick glue! 😱
You are such a creative bunch here! So impressed with your skills. This is a lovely thread to pop into now and then, and see what clever stuff you’ve been up to.
