    Wow! I haven't seen this thread before. What a lot of amazing talent! I once posted some watercolours on a thread like this, but they aren't good enough for this thread. So professional.

    OK, Joyce image They aren't very recent, got discouraged because what I saw in my mind didn't come onto the paper!

    They're lovely and delicate, BL.  Watercolour is so tricky - the colours dry so much lighter than I expect, and if (when!) I make a mistake, there's very little possibility for correction...

    I've recently started using acrylics, which at least you can paint over if it goes wrong!

    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    BusyL, I really admire your paintings. I also prefer watercolour  to any other medium.

    I really like them Busy.   No-one else know what you hoped for or intended so can only judge what they see which is lovely.

    Thank you, how kind you all are. I felt a bit daft posting them as there are such lovely things on this thread. I like gentle country scenes in watercolour done by skilled artists so wanted to have a go.
