Yes, those are the colours I’m using - idea is to match our curtains …..

Think working with all those stitches (for a double blanket) might be a challenge but I’ll let you know how I get on 😳

I’m impressed with your little bear Chicky. It looks tricky to crochet.

I had no idea that the Handmade wood work show was on Channel 4 and that Pottery Throwdown was on again. Available online. I don't have a TV so I miss news of these gems. :/

I don't know the woodwork one - would you recommend? I love the throwdown.

I started a short bookbinding course last night, primarily to connect with my family history but for lots of other reasons too. It's very exciting.

@LG_  I would recommend the wood work one.

On all these shows the premise glaringly doesn't stand. None of the candidates are "the best gardener/baker/potter/wood worker/painter in Britain".  The 'best baker' has never made a pie, the best potter has never made a plate, the best wood worker has never made a chair. But that spin daftishness aside, I think it's always interesting to learn about the techniques.

On this show I find the judges sour, rather spiteful and humourless. But then these shows always seem to make that mistake in the frst series. The judges have to be warm and encouraging or the show fails.

It’s called Handmade: Britain’s Best Woodworker I enjoyed it.

I quite like watching people make things 🙂.

I loved All that Glitters: Britain’s Next Jewellery Star on BBC2. It was on sometime last year.

    Love your koala @chicky.
I’m sure your blanket will be great. I love the colours 🙂 🧶.
