I had a go at a painting exercise that I saw on line today. It's a design for an envelope. It's a bit rough, but hey I'm out of practice.

I just had a thought. If anyone wants to print it off to use as a gift card, I don't mind. I've not signed it, so, go for it!

Oh good. I thought this thread had disappeared for good.

Thanks for posting that Pat. It's gorgeous.

BL your paintings are great. Having dabbled in watercolours I know what a difficult medium it is. I went to classes because I was determined that there had to be some vestige of artistic talent in there somewhere. Vestige is right. It's almost imperceptible but when I produced something pretty it was worth it.

I like the second one too.

Joyce!!!!! You kept that talent very quiet. That's stunning! You just made it up?!?!?! image I'm in awe!

Thank you, PP, for liking my paintings.

Birthday cake for my cousin's sixty seventh and a half birthday cake.   Her wedding cake and m son's wedding cake.

Sorry I couldn't make the pictures bigger.

(my cousin's birthday is Christmas Eve and she has never had a "proper" birthday and she has decided to celebrate on 24th June - halfway through the year!
