    WELCOME BACK PANSYFACE  XX

Obelixx, we haven't had floods here, they are further north, but there has been a heck of a lot of rain and the rivers are muddy and swollen. My roses are very battered, OH has been dead heading this morning. One good thing, I've hardly watered this year! But I haven't worn a summer dress yet either.

Puncdoc, I found your post very moving. I wish I'd joined a forum all those years after 1st OH died when I was on my own in an isolated house, but Internet had hardly started and I was computer illiterate anyway. 2nd OH has taught me a lot about computers. I like having forum gardening friends who speak my language when I live abroad. But now, recently, a new gardening club has started and there is the new Open Gardens scheme, mostly English.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I too would like to welcome you back Pansy.

No floods here either , to be honest, some rain wouldn't go amiss.

I've just donned the waders and taken the leftover water lilies to the lake . I had very good intentions to weight them with stone and carefully place them.

Nah, I just got in the lake and lobbed them. They have two options.

If I could post photos , I'd show you the progress on the small pond, alas no photos.

    Keep chatting guys.

Punkdoc and Wonky, special Hosta Hugs to you both.

    Devon.

Yippeeeeeeeeimage. Great to see your excommunication is over Pansyimage

Boy, that was one long 48 hours (and I think I only managed 38 anywayimage).

Still looking forward to an explanation from Daniel (who, with it being half term and all that, might just have joined the rest of the world on holiday .....and could be blissfully unaware that his site has been falling apart in his absence. i hope I'm right, because otherwise the lack of explanation is just plain rude.  And I don't like rudeimage)

Back at home now, with Dad settled in the livingroom, and a bed made up downstairs.  Might even get out there and do some weeding in a bit.

    WELCOME BACK PANSYFACE

No floods here. The soil under the oak is so dry I cant get a fork in. I've put the soaker hose on so I can put bean sticks in.

    Hugs for chicky too.

Pansy I am so glad this silly little episode is over. You have many friends on this site and I join all the others in wishing you well and a speedy return to good health. Please keep posting you have so much knowledge to share

I too find this forum a wonderful place to come when I want to talk about one of my favourite subjects

I also find it amazing how much support there is for other aspects of our daily lives. Everyone has their own battles to fight and knowing we can talk freely and anonymously (if desired) makes it all a special place to come   As many of you know my family are in far away places and I do get very lonely especially when peers talk about theirs it new babies arrive and they get to see them regularly.

    enough! I am ranting, sorry.

I am so sorry the weather is affecting so many so badly! I hate to crowimage but we are obviously having our summer and so we are making the most if it. getting sick of BarBQ simage

to all my lovely friends on this forum. I value our friendship, perhaps this has brought us closer together have a good Saturday evening image

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

HELLO PANSYFACE! HOW WONDERFUL TO HAVE YOU BACK. I JUST LOOKED IN TO SEE WHAT WAS HAPPENING, BUT HADN'T POSTED SINCE YESTERDAY IN SUPPORT.

HOPEFULLY AN EXPLANATION OF THE OVERREACTION WILL BE FORTHCOMING, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE ISSUE SORTED.

MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, I HOPE YOU'RE OK. I DON'T THINK I NEED TO ADD TO WHAT'S ALREADY BEEN SAID, SO I'LL JUST SEND A BIG HUG   (NO KISSES image

    HUG FOR YOU TOO DOC.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
