What difference 2 hours make. We just had a freezing little cloud of fine droplets pass over and the kangaroos are all hunched up into round shapes under trees.image

Good afternoon Patimage.  I'm just up for a hot drink and couldn't resist putting the TV on to see how the results are goingimage.  Wish I hadn't.

It's always a treat to see your pics of kangaroos and other wildlife.  The next one sounds as though it's going to be kangaroos in the snow againimage.  Hope you're keeping warm and snug.

Lizzie, Dove and Topbird I hope you have a lovely time at Peter Beale's.  Do you think they will sell off any rain bedraggled roses to you for half price?image.  Sorry to hear your garage was flooded Topbird, though you sounded prepared for it with everything stored off the floor.  Still a lot of hard work to clean up though.

Fairy you were really busy yesterday and put me to shame.  I only managed a few minutes outside weeding as the midges sent me running (well, walking quick) for cover.  It's been perfect humid weather for themimage.

Good to see you DD - have been thinking of you xx.

One more cuppa and I'll go back to bed to try again.

Last night we had a shepherds delight sky, and this morning we have blue skies and sunshine.

How close do the kangaroos come, Pat?

I stroked a kangaroo at a wildlife park in Perth, the fur is just so soft. Do you get barking owls? They had some there as well, they sound like a dog barking, not an owl hooting.

    They made me laugh anyway.

Looks like pensions will be taking a huge hit - less pocket money for plants image

    Stunned....

Phrases involving hell and handcarts spring to mind.

Hope beyond hope that I am proved wrong and we can come out stronger and better from this mess.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
