Thought it was my imagination that the pages looked a little different - but have just seen a posting from Nora to say they have changed the typeface for the forum. It looks better to me - hope it works for those who were having problems reading posts
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Pretty PP, and colourful but I've never understood doughnuts, even with jam.
RB - sounds dreadful. make sure you rest and take all the pampering you can get.
Anyone else deeply entertained by the mental image of Diane Abbott being Jeremy's Rottweiler and preventing Labour MPs getting through his door to see him about resigning?
Not to mention the prospect of when and how Boris will get his own back on Gove.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
"The price good men (and women) pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men (and women)."
Sorry to hear about your accident RB, hope you feel better soon.
Clari, another one in the wars, get it checked out.
Couldn't have put it better myself Hosta, re Gove. Can't stand the man, at least we know none of the nations teachers will vote Tory in a general election if he gets nominated. He always reminds me of Iggle Piggle from The Night Garden.
What a mess the country's in at the moment. My Son in Law isn't speaking to his parents, he can't believe they voted out. I don't think I've ever seen him so angry.
Sorry about your horse BL you must be very sad.
Spent the morning at the hospital with mom, had to accompany her to the diabetic eye clinic. Got home at lunchtime and secondborn popped in so I've had lots of cuddles from Jonah while she popped to Merry Hill to do some shopping. Tommorow I'm on Nanna duty for Firstborn and on Saturday I'm looking after Jonah while Secondborn and her partner go out for a meal, not much gardening for me in the offing.
Ooo Runny - sounds a nightmare - hope you are feeling calmer soon. What a dreadful thing to happen.
Just heard that Mrs Gove reacted to the turmoil of last Friday by telling hubby "you were only meant to blow the bl&&dy doors off". Good to realise that some were in the mood for jokes whilst the rest if us were looking on in horror as the events unfolded (many brexiteers included)
Quite a few years ago I had a brand new car - only a few weeks old when it was rear-ended - when the insurance company asked what I was doing at the time of the accident I quite truthfully told them I was having a cup of tea ............ my car was parked on the side of the road outside my friend's house and I was indoors on the sofa.
When the driver of the car who hit my car was asked by the police why he didn't see my car he said,
"I'd turned round to talk to my children on the back seat."
When they asked him why he didn't stop at the scene of the accident he said it was because his ex-wife would be cross if he was late getting the children back.
Thankfully the children fishing in the village pond saw everything and took his car number and came and found me. It didn't take the police long to track him down.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Yvie - How sad about your SIL and parents. That has to be the worst kind of outcome of the referendum. We didn't all vote the same way in this house, but I cannot envisage any of us disrespecting the views,or the decision, of the others. Surely that's the point of democracy?
RB - I'd send you some hugs, but they might hurt...
Horrible experience for you. Take your time to get over it, but try and get back in a car and drive as soon as you can, even if it's to the end of the road and back.
I had a similar one several years ago, waiting to turn right like you. He tried to get through a gap that wasn't there, rear ended me, and my daughters ended up with whiplash and bruising. I lost the plot with him, not that it helped, but it was one of those days, one of those weeks really, and he was the straw that broke the camel's back. My dad was in hospital and I didn't want to leave my mum on her own for very long, and instead I had to deal with a moron who had no idea of the sizeof his r***y car.
Clari Hope you only have some bruising and nothing more serious. It's so easily done.
Very changeable here - it's got very dark...
Rain came on again when I got home, so I felt no guilt at all in watching the tennis
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Best wishes to RB & Clari hope both feeling better soon
Early night as going to Lincoln Castle for a 7-00 am for memorial services for Centary of the Somme , will also look at Poppy wave , will need an afternoon nap
Have been to Tower of London & Yorkshire sculpture park to see there Poppy displays both brilliant
Oh Runnybeak, what a horrible shock that must have been! I hope your achey bits get better quickly and the insurance pays out well. I have been hit while waiting at the traffic lights 3 times since living in France. Got shouted at one time for having a tow hook on my car as the idiot had driven into the car behind me which hadn't the handbrake on so it shunted onto my tow hook. Tow hook saved my car from damage though.
I hope you get better quickly, too, Clari.
My poor friend has had troubles with the knacker man coming to fetch my poor dead horse, the only way they do it in France. The knacker refused to go down my drive, local French farmer has had to take Archie up the drive in his tractor bucket. I wish I had been there, but I would probably have been too upset to have been of much use.

Runnybeak, you could well have done without the accident
Take all the pampering you can while it's on offer. . . .
It actually stayed dry today so the garden is a bit tidier
gave up at 4pm to watch the tennis.
