The sun is out up here this morning. We will have to go to vote later as big son has to go to the hospital for dental treatment with sedation soon. That'll be fun
Hope the sun brings my peony out. I asked OH whether it was out on the 'phone while I was away and he said yes. I went out to see it as soon as I got home and they are still tight buds. When asked he said 'What are those down there then?'. 'Oriental poppies' I said.
Joyce I'm looking forward to tales of the drone too.
Morning all/afties Pat. Have you recovered from the birthday celebrations?
Glorious day already here - shame we couldn't have had the southern thunderstorms and torrential rain here today for the visit of that delightful, reasonable, articulate man with his candy floss hair at Turnberry. I could always drum up a plague of frogs. Those giant chicken frogs that are being protected at Chester zoo would be good! Had to laugh at the news that people are flying Mexican flags in the area
Are you sending your drone over with a flag Joyce?
I can understand your feelings chicky. I still don't know what to do
We need photos Hosta....
Did you sleep any better last night though? Hit and miss isn't it?
Lesley - men eh?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I think the pilot has a bit of paper work to get through before there'll be any flying.
Also we are supposed to be getting the coldest cold front so far this year, overnight, with high winds and snow. I might have some snowy photos in the morning, although I'm not looking forward to being cold. HRH wil be in her coat for extra time tomorrow I think. we rushed out the back a couple of hours ago to cut more firewood. Just as well I think.
Fairy, if I had a flagpole I know where I would put it in relation to the designated Republican presidential candidate's torso He will be putting in his tuppence worth on the Referendum result.
Have to get some i*****g done but hope to get some time in the garden before I have to go to a meeting and then teach this afternoon. The lilies are finally coming out and there does now seem to be some colour out there, something to see after all the effort at last.
Will be interesting to see how this referendum turns out tomorrow, a lot of ex-pats out here are keeping a very close eye on things.
Hope you all have a good day.

Lesley - I wondered why Joyce would have one! Have you got the flying goggles Pat?
GWRS - the forum changes now mean it's more difficult to post photos from laptops as we can no longer use an external site like we did before. Photos all have to be resized. I could post a pic of any size doing that, but they're now only up to 5mb, and that's not working either. Nothing over about 2.5 mb will upload
Of to work. Have a good day everyone

Fairy, I love the "passive aggression" of flying the Mexican flag.

Lovely and sunny here, lightens the mood.

I think Hubby will be the pilot.
Just so you can all crow about having summer while we have winter, here is the snow prediction for tonight/tomorrow.
