Probably not much point me writing this, as you cannot read it.

    BUT:

I have absolutely no desire for you to leave the forum, we used to get along well, and have supported each other during previous spats on the forum.

The only reason I posted a PM, was because you were basically accusing me of lying, over your stirring tendencies.

I find it refreshing to hear from people with strongly held views whether I agree with them or not. This has pretty much been lost to politics as the older politicians retire or die and are replaced with career politicians with flexible principles.

    Liriodendron,

The UK has a massive foreign aid budget without adding more to it via the EU.  I also suspect that directly managed aid (which neither the UK nor the EU seems to have at present) would ensure money went where it was needed, when it was needed.  The EU is like the Microsoft Windows operating system - brilliant concept when first created but now so bloated with un-necessary functionality that it barely works.

    So true B3.

Wish we had people like W. Benn around still.

Yes PD. I didn't always agree with him but I believed that he believed  in what he was saying. I rarely agreed with Thatcher, but the same applied.

The new leaflet, very subtle....heavenly blue on the stay in side.....devil red on the out side.

do they think we are stupid and not see what they are doing there.

I would hate to think that someone might copy and paste something I may have told them in a PM on the open forum.
