Nanny Beach, phoned the vet up about the metacam, it was upsetting his stomach gave him diarrhoea.Told me not to give it again until he was better.Said he would have a blood test after a week, to see if he has improved. The only thing we have 2 weeks of antibiotics.
If you're thinking of getting some chew toys, get a Kong bone their better than the nylabones.
We have got the kong ones, and nylon, just bought her a new blanket, and a pigs ear, yes, I expect her to make me a silk purse!!! OH wanted to buy her a memory foam bed, I said no point, he said "Do you think she would chew it", honestly!!!! They say a lot of dogs are given up for re-homing, you get over the "puppy chewing" then the do the second one at around a year. I have had lots of dogs, they have all been slightly different, my toy had a pechant for chewing electrical wires, I was told before i got him its a feature of the model, he chewed the flex on a hairdryer and ceramic heater. (aparently, house rabbits do the same) BUT of course you meet the folk on the obedience courses their little, fluffy, chalk, spot, NEVER chewed a thing. I have heard that (no cant spell it) "sausage dogs" dont chew. Luna chewed the flex on both a table lamp, and standard lamp! I know it is recomended these days you keep them in a crate apart from letting them out to the toilet and for excersise, stops the chewing supposed to make toilet training easier, (cos they NEVER go in their crate) oh yes they, do! So waiting for the blood tests, now,is he insured Logan? Keep us posted.
I cant see the point in having a puppy and keeping it in a crate all the time, that what I meant to say. Have been getting up at 5 this week, going to work with OH and the dogs to babysit for our youngest daughter, she lives a few miles from where he works. So, we leave at 6, I drop him at work, he starts at 7.30, go to hers, breakfast for all of us. There is a lovelly country park, where we have been going with the dogs, about 5 miles from her house, then 4.30 collect Hubby and back home. Usualy they stay at mine, but they are only 5 and 6, went away camping with other granny last week, and wanted to see their Mum!
This is Blue. He was taken from his mum too early (not by us) and has attachment disorder. He thinks that I'm his mum. He would follow me round all day if he could, which is nice in the garden, not so much at 4am or any time when you step backwards and there's suddenly a cat!
Hes not blue, hes white you should have called him "sparkles", we step back and theres a dog, they really do follow you everywere, hes a lovelly boy, when I was 2 we had a wihite moggy called snowball, my (late ) parents told me many years later he was poisoned, they managed to find another white one and I never knew!! My daughter got 2 kittens last year, little devils! They have ripped down her wooden blinds, broken mirrors, wake her up in the night, torn the wallpaper, trashed her leather sofa.
haven't had internet for 2 days. Yes he's insured with Petplan. They're very good. It's nice to hear about other people's dogs and we are not alone what they get up to.
NB - I too, had a white cat called Snowball when I was a child!
We didn't chose his name, the people we got him off did, as he had blue eyes when he was a kitten, not realising that they all do. I wanted to change his name, but was outvoted!
Ours had yellowy/green eyes, isnt that a co-incidence though! Went to the Airshow yesterday, I have a picnic set in a backpack, stupidly, I removed all the stuff not needed because its so heavy to carry, which was plastic wine glasses, 4 sets of cutlery and a wooden cheese board, I put them on the bed, OH came in the lounge said "whats this all over the floor?"well, it was a good part of the cheese board, Luna must have nipped in there the minute I came out.I am lucky she didnt chew the wine glasses, or cutlery handles.

I have 3 cats who love to run around the garden like crazy when i'm pottering about.
Joan loves to sit in holes I dig for new plants -
here's her as a kitten
Martha is shy, but loves to come and sit on you while you're in the garden
And Charlie Chaplin is a big softy, can't find one of him by himself so here's a rare group shot that's been edited...
