Sorry to hear your news, but didn't she do well, 17, unusual for a dog of her type. You must have given her a great life. I still miss my Tigger who died a bit over a year ago.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
PP sorry to hear of your lose, as the others have said, you've got a lot of good memories. 17 is very good, but that doesn't make things any easier.Logan went on to 16 years.
Thanks again everyone. It's all a bit strange still. She was with me through thick and thin and I keep forgetting she's not here. It'll take a while I suppose.
My dogs, except Lola who had lymphoma, all live to be ancient! I keep them slim and fit...Maybe I should try it for myself!

PP, very sorry to hear your news ((hugs))
So sorry to hear that PP.
Thanks everyone.
She just wouldn't stop...thought we might have to shoot her. She was fading away and was so very very tired.
A great dog till the end.
