He, sfine thanks Logan, vet alsways says give them a couple of days of "white" stuff, I forgot he doesnt like fish, (silly 88888!) so I cooked him my expensive cod steak, looked at it in disgust, so, cooked him chicken, oh, yes he loved that, all normal ahem "service" is resumed thankfully!
Oh pp, so sorry to read about Bran. It's very sad to have to say goodbye to faithful companions when the time comes. She had a good innings at 17, and was a champion pal and ace granny squasher. Hope that memories of happy times and cuddles with Wren help to soften the sadness. xx
Getting a new dog has brought out all these emotions in me, about the dog we had who was PTS 18 years ago. I came across this picture and tears welled up. She was such a good girl, always there with us and never any trouble.

"What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbour".
Owning an ex-racing greyhound is slightly harder work, I must admit, but he's a sweet boy. And the upside is, he's very placid at home spends most of the day sleeping while I'm working.

No regrets at all. You have to watch them with cats and even with smaller dogs I'm a little bit cautious - he's not aggressive at all, but that chase instinct is deeply ingrained.
