imagePretty chicken, Philippa. All these lovely photos of pets and I don't have a dog any more image I have a semi-wild cat, a stray cat's daughter, but she is getting tamer. My main pet is my horse who was 18 on Monday, but she can't come indoors. Here's my girl.

Bother the photo won't post, just over 1 MB. I'll try another one, but it's less recent. That was just under 1MB. I thought this site took photos up to 2 MB.

Met too but I've had to re-size quite a few lately.

She looks lovely Busy.  Do you still ride?  I had to give up cos of back problems but still get a yen every now and then.

I had to give up because of arthritis. Hard getting on and off and Lena is quite a fizzy, but fun, ride and I don't trust my right knee any more.

That's a shame.  Have you thought of a mounting block?   I loved a fun ride.

When we first moved to Belgium we hired horses for a hack in the Forêt de Soignes in Brussels which has bridle paths reserved for horses.  He wanted to do collected canter!!  I wanted a good welly and so did the horses.  We bought our Belgian house because it had a paddock but then my back went so we lent the paddock to our riding school neighbours who used it for their retired horses and socialising young 'uns with herd manners.

    Lena.

I have a large rectangular stone for a mounting block, but I got worried in case I fell off in the middle of nowhere on my own. My riding friends, except one whose horse won't go out, have all given up now that we are 27!

Loana21, I have a Border collie if you want help with digging holes! Hubby was playing ball in the garden with her after work, about 10 minutes later I went out there, there were 2 holes in my newest bed, crocus and tulips turfed up spread on the path and grass.  I cannot repeat what m,y "sarf London" Hubby said, mind you being a lady I didnt understand it! Daughter up for Mothers day, try to get her to put a picture on here.
