Thats awful Logan, I dont know if its worse loosing a dog suddenly like that, or having them linger on, Holly had kidney failure, dementia, but her lungs and heart were fine, we put off the "day", for a whole year, she would have a good day, she was 17, when the deed was finnaly done January 15.  My vet said by the time they are 12, there are all sorts of problems, but we are too good these days t keeping them alive! Nothing you can do for kidney failure, though. She wasnt in pain, just sort of there in body, but the eyes had been blank for a long time. The previous dog was absolutely lovelly nature,Holly, just kept herself to herself, you were lucky if she was in the room with you.she was a loner. Got on with Merl, took her about 7 years to accept Leo, not that he cared!

Does anyone know, can they be trained to dig up weeds?

  • LoganLogan Posts: 2,532

You might be able to if you teach the leave command. When you don't want to dig them up you say leave and when you do you say,ok.Give them a treat when they do it right.image
