The rose is beautiful isn't it? It was a lost label bare root from jparkers 2 years ago. No idea what it is but the leafcutter bees like it! So far the bougainvillea has been ok, as you are in Essex your temps can't be too difficult to mine in London.
Dhobi wallah is simple - I should be getting on with the laundry.
Well if you are not keen on the ordinary fuchsias you could always pass them on to a friend or neighbour aym280. The way I see it if I don't like a pant from seed or it turns out to be unsuitable for the conditions here then there is no point keeping it when my space is so limited. I find I can't throw a plant in the bin though. I have given a few things to my mum that got too big as she has a good sized garden. There is a geranium that blew in and self seeded in my containers that Ive just potted up which she will be adopting I am in Lancashire aym280, lots of rain, wind and not much sun. I love the silene, did not realise red campion is a silene I will have to brush up on all these plant names. Dwarf Godetias are on my list for next year, did not have the room this year. I am concentrating on short varieties as tall plants don't do well here.
Beautiful Gladioli sam bevington, very pretty garden there.
