Wow so many lovely blooms since I last posted on here, the pink Echinaceas and Godetias are very pretty aym280, I may try Godetias next year. Had my eye on some seed this year but I had run out of room before I got some.
The Bourgainviliea looks fantastic Guernsey Donkey2 , it is a beautiful colour and so many flowers. Does it have scent? I get Bourgainviliea granuels for my oil burner and its smells lovely, one of my favorites.
fidgetbones the Roscoea alpina looks interesting, not seen those before it is stunning.
Beautiful shots there SparklesJD your nigella looks far more impressive than mine. Zenjeff lovely selection there, cheered me up after a rotten couple of days.
Oh Himalayan balsam pods are fun. People don't appreciate them because its so invasive but I think they are a beautiful flower. When the local river bank has a ton of it growing it looks amazing. I had to look up the alstroemeria, I like the purple and pink variations. I will have to try and collect some seeds from my flowers, not something I have done before.
I am waiting for Roscoea purpurea ' Vannin' to flower. this could be really exciting . It is still in a pot, potted on from when I bought it, I think it will be quite different from the type.
Sitting out in the garden this evening, I wish I could bottle the perfume. Lilies, phlox, honeysuckle, jasmine, all intermingling.

Joyce,I had a huge one that I had to get rid of because it wanted to take over the world! I'll keep an eye out for the more delicate ones.
Verdun
my Lobelia is still in bud.
Ignore the poor dead geranium underneath - one day it was fine, the next it was dead, c'est la vie.
Irises. Got the bulbs from the pound shop, they've done so much better than all my expensive SR ones, which kept getting dug up by the blinkin' foxes.
Not flowers, but my first tomatoes! Very exciting! Minibels, the plants have stayed a lovely size for my patio.
Argyranthemum 'cherry red'.
Fuchsias!
Ivy leaved geranium 'maximo' - like raspberry ripple on a stem.
Back from hols and wedding youngest son did well all pots etc looked after all still thriving
