    How long did it take your clematis seed to germinate?. I was sent some, I put them in a tray and covered with grit.  I thought it may be next year before I get germination.

    imageRoscoea alpina, a month ago.

    It is only six inches tall. It did drop a lot of seeds last year which seem to like the mulch and have germinated well.

    fidgetbones- I think I will need to add to my roscoeas. . . . the alpina is beautifulimage

    I have lots of damp shade image so no problem in where to plant them.

    B3   There are more 'delicate' forms of Hypericum with tiny yellow flowers followed by white berries and one species with pink berries.  Both have berries just now.
