    I didn't sow my Wild Swans. They were decent healthy plants when I bought them. I think it's just too hot and dry in summer in Dordogne.

    ...And, specially for Aym, acers! The red one is the formally sad one from a post a while ago, which you can see is much happier now. I've moved it to a more sheltered spot as it was getting a bit wind-scorched. The small green one is a £3 bargain from Morrisons - on it's third pot, but it'll be a while before I need to find a forever home for it!
