The white ones are an ordinary Lily Regale. They have gone over since I took the picture and the African Queen is now out. The perfume is lovely.
I discovered last year that I had over 40 pots on my patio. The only actual bedding plants this year were about two packs each of petunias and pelagoniums from B&Q .
Hi aym...I've been busy working mostly and didn't really have much in the way of new blooms until now. The Gerbera was a gift from my sister and I've potted it into a metal bucket...not a purple on though, alas.
Sparaxis...I had a couple of white ones but they got mullered. I'm surprised they grew in a shady area as they are South African in origin.
The little white flowers are actually lilac coloured but the camera doesn't show it too well...They are Oregano. It's in a pot, over 2 years old, about 2 ft across and the bees love it.
Here's a progress report on the Hypericum that Kitty2 kindly sent me. It's started to sprout new shoots and looks healthy. It was in the post for near 3 days but thanks to the brilliant job Kitty done of packaging it arrived looking very very well. Thanks Kitty.
Aym...The Clematis is The President. I cut it right back to about 2 ft last season, which I soon found out was the wrong thing to do. As far as I can work out it should be lightly pruned as next year's growth grows on the old wood.
aym280 I cut back a lot of the tendrils yesterday as they were getting out of hand but there will be another flush sprouting. Then there will be the winter puning job.
I will tie in some to the wires to get the bare places covered. One day my home made frame is going to collapse under the weight .
I live quite close to the centre of London aym, so quite warm here. I have been trying to replicate my childhood garden in East Africa. I would love some help from anyone here.
I have some bananas, hibiscus, agapanthus, snapdragons, zinnias, bougainevillea. I have to find a place for the tomatoes, they are just so delicious compared to supermarket fruit.
I had these sent me by by sister. They are "oenothera fruticosa" I think 'African Sun' They have lovely flowers and red bracts and leaves. Not exotic at all but very cheery. They put up lots of offsets.

The wisteria is in the garden itself.

Hello everyone. Hope you are all well. Got some new pics for the thread. Hoping to keep some colour going through the summer.

A snap before my blue Agapanthus disappears. The white agapanthus (and just about everything else) has been horribly late in this part of London.
