Thank you,if you buy seeds you can sow them now.I thought the spelling was wrong,i tried to find the name of the allium but couldn't,but that one doesn't divide like the others.OH was late pruning the roses this year because of the weather.image

Logan, your allium looks like Christophii to me.

Loli, love your poppy/ allium combo, that's what I'm aiming for just my poppies aren't showing yet.... Maybe when they do I'll try to pop a piccy on too.  As long as the alliums haven't died back by then!

  • Mine are nothing special yet. But this is my first year with much colour after some basic prep last year (I couldnt do much in between morning sickness etc!). Quite chuffed how long the auricula have lasted. The hydrangea is much more baby blue than in the photo. And the peony is almost there! But sadly the slugs have started work on the remaining lupin they are yet to destroy :(

Aym - the seedlings I was given are now 3 inch sturdy plants. I am going to put them into individual pots and water against vine weevil.

Aym: they are outside, on the back steps, in some shade, in MPC with some added grit

Plants that I want to keep an eye on go on the back steps image.
