Sophie - when did your achillea start flowering? I'm still waiting for mine to get going.
Nice pics Aym. That campanula is awesome.
In contrast to all the nice dainty flowers I thought I would give you this. It's become a beast. Some serious pruning required. It has many fans though. On a sunny day it doesn't always shine but when it's overcast the orange balls really glow.
I've been waiting to show you all my climbing rose 'Blue Moon' - we planted it as a bare root plant earlier this year and it's just started to flower! I can't wait until scrambles up over the frame we have made! I think its the most amazing colour!
I can't take any credit for that lovely achillea it's not mine it's Julie's haha. Aym I'm very jealous of that Diana, still no buds on mine. I've got about 40 George buds thinking about opening though. My feeble achillea goldahlia (somethings had a bit of petal other dahlias I love this one but look where it's decided to hide!!!!underneath the penstemon and aster! Grrrrrrr it doesn't want to be seen. Silly shy lily!
Still a few more things hiding Aym but they will make an appearance soon no doubt
Aym - the shrub is a buddleia globosa (orange balls). It grows very quickly and very large, so beware! You can't prune it down in spring like a normal buddleia because it flowers on previous season's growth.
Sophie - I'm sure your achillea will be just as good as Julie's given time

Not much to show at the moment aym, my garden is still very green.
It's stopped raining so I'll go out and see if there's anything I can take some terrible photos of
Feel like a bit of a fraud putting these on your "flower" thread but here we go aym.
Clematis:
Begonia:
Small bed of mixed annuals:
Chrysanthemum 'eastern star':
I did find some chives in flower and a couple of last years snapdragons
Other than that it's lots of green, green and more green. Give it a few weeks and I'll catch up.
Kitty, it's the promise of flowers that counts!
I made it out today. A good hour of deadheading etc and i have even managed to take a few pics.
potentilla miss wilmot
Violas
achillea and californian poppies
