Hollie: the loo rolls are just my latest attempt at keeping up with their growth by potting them deeper each time. Everything apart from the sweet peas was started in module trays.
You can see stage one on page 5 in the third photo taken 12th April. Then I potted them on with 4 to a 7cm square pot (bottom of page 5, on 25th April)
I had too many to put in 9cm pots so thought I'd try the loo rolls. Bit of an experiment but it saves on space when they need the depth.
The brown trays they sit in are asda mushroom containers, they fit perfectly on a windowdsil with no drips and you can fit 4 x 7cm pots in or 6 to 9 loo rolls depending on how tight you cram em .
Everything you see started life on my tower of terror in the conservatory (page 1), Hubby's edible peas took up all the windowsill space.
Looking good Hollie and kitty amazing how much the seedling have grown over the past 6 weeks. Most of my seedling have grown up been potted on to final trays/pots, possibly next week will go out into the big wide world to fend for themselves their guardian angel ( ME ) wont be far away though.

Busy Lizzie: Ha, ha, ha. Just as your emptying your greenhouse, I'm filling mine up in chilly, drizzly Manchester.
I imagine you must have sold a lot on your open day, combined with all your planting out it'll be empty before you know it.

Hollie, I grew Echium Blue Bedder on year and it was lovely, beautiful blue, but it didn't last as long as bedding plants, such as petunias.
My GH is nearly empty now, I've taken down the trestle tables and planted tomatoes in their place. But the 3 cold frames are still almost full.

I got a few pictures of the GH with my plants in.
