Watching seedlings grow 2016

Kitty 2Kitty 2 Posts: 5,150

Thanks to Gardengirl who started the original last year.

It was a lovely thread to show photos of your seedlings as they progress and share tips on sowing and growing.

If anyone clever can add a link to last years for any newbies wanting to look back that would be great. ( I'm useless at techie stuff )

Only sowed my first seeds on Wednesday so nothing much to see yet.

Here's a photo of my set up of seed trays in the conservatory.

    very pretty and organised kitty.

I might well take some of mine later to add.

Nice idea for a thread at this time of year.

Me too hollie.  I used to spend loads buying trays of bedding plants at the GC but it's so much more rewarding to fill the garden with plants grown from seed.

hollie, there are few greater pleasures than seeing a wonderful plant, smelling lovely or looking sensational or feeding insects, or all of the above and saying:

" I grew that from a tiny seed using my own little fingers"

After over 40 years, it still fills me with joy.
