No pic but I had an exciting germination today. A single paeony seed, given to me two and a half years ago, has germinated.
It's a white herbaceous one

I'm on the ' long wait' too as I sowed two seeds last year.....its good to have a rough time scale now, thanks.

Watch them flowers, if the seed was very fresh they may germinate any day now.
Hi Hollie, in the third of my yesterday pics, there are grit covered pots. the paeony is in one of them. Sitting on slabs outside the GH for winter but on the shady side of the house through summer.
I suppose it got a bit of water when other plants were watered in summer but I didn't give it any attention at all. Grit does hold the moisture in
