Been to the annual Pound Sale at the church in the centre of our town. Bought very little, not even any plants, though there were some... but met a lot of people to chat to.
Cold here and cloudy now. I'd love to be gardening this afternoon but it looks unlikely - think it might be sewing/knitting for me!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I've not been posting much as I'm still feeling a bit 'off ' but have tried to keep up with the news.
Chicky I'm so pleased that everything seems to be on the up now. Glad you're on the mend Hosta and able to catch up on months of lost sleep. Panda I'm glad you can smile again.
LilyP your holiday sounds amazing. It's been so cold here and it even snowed quite heavily yesterday evening. Hope Fairy is wrapped up well for her walk.

By the way, just before I go to sleep, I wanted to ask about that bird on the castle. I keep tuning in to watch it, but it never seems to fly or move much, except to sometimes peck something From the gravel. (Cheeky Hubby asked if its batteries needed replacing), but apart from the wind moving feathers, I'm still waiting to see some activity.
