Home from the hospital - a very relieved Chicky household. Angio late this afternoon showed what the problem was (a minor artery has a blockage) but confirmed that it is not dangerous, and that with increasing exercise, as he recovers, should start repairing itself (the "creating its own bypass" that you sometimes hear of). They are going to do another treadmill test in a couple of weeks to give them a good benchmark for him and his circumstances, and then treadmills every six months or so to monitor any changes.
So he will be home tomorrow, and should be back to half days at work on Monday. Don't think he has ever felt so pleased at the prospect of returning to work. I shall sleep well tonight
