Morning everyone. I've actually been out in the garden today for a change, it even got too hot at one stage and I came in for a couple of hours. I've cleaned up pots with miniature roses and chives in them. Ready for the cold season to come.
G'day Pat It seems like only yesterday you were showing us photos of the first spring blossoms - how time flies!
PottiePam - good to see you - thanks for the hugs How wonderful to see swallows. I was only thinking yesterday that we ought to have a thread tracking their arrival ... I shall start one in a moment. Mind you, I did hear that it's thought some overwintered here ...
Clari ((hugs))
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all /afties Pat - good that you got outside for a while
Hope you're better soon Clari, keep tucked up. It's rubbish when you get something that should make you feel better and it doesn't...
Nice to see you PPam - your description almost makes me think summer might come soon. We have resident swallows where I work so I must take note of when they appear for Dove's thread. I expect it'll be a few weeks yet
Am I the only person who's daffodils and narcissus aren't even flowering yet
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Joyce - I have a few of the standard yellow ones which were already in the garden when I moved in, but all my nice ones are just budding. It came into my head because Monty's Thalias were going over and mine are a long way from flowering. Thought mine were even slower than usual so that's good that yours are the same
Wet and miserable here too KEF....the weather I mean.....
Did you sleep better last night Hosta?

Marginally Fairy thanks. I keep waking , aching all over, but at least I had a few hours.
BTW, Watched Big dreams last night, AND HE WAS PISSED ha ha ha. Everyone was right. I thought it was a wind up , but no, the full slurred speech , glazed eyes and wobble. Funniest thing I've seen in ages.
