Difficult when you're not nearby Lesley, but at least there's enough of you to assist when required
I've thoroughly cleaned the flask now....
I used it recently in Glen Lyon to bring some home too...coffee tasted fine afterwards
Spring is trying hard to spring doc - makes you feel better when you see bees and new growth on plants doesn't it? My hedging has buds and a few flowers and the hedgerow hawthorn is all looking nice and green now. Lovely
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Some are now flowering thanks Joyce - Silver Chimes and (newly planted) Minnow. Cheerfulness and Thalias are in bud - I love both of those varieties and always look forward to them opening

Think you're ahead of me then Fairy! My King Alfreds on the meadow are only just starting to open, no sign of buds yet on Thalia, it usually flowers May here, with the tulips!
But the first flowers just opening on Daphne Mezereon, Kojo-no-mai and the Prunus cerasifera so plenty to enjoy now
I think you're much higher up than me Bcupdays -I'm about 400 feet here. Mine were only just showing a week or two ago, but a slight rise in temps has got them moving a bit. Thalia is usually the latest to appear of the ones I have - late April normally I'd say - and into May with the tulips too!

Did anyone watch the programme in the week about staying young with Angela Ripon?
I didn't, but my sister did so at a family gathering yesterday (no alcohol involved) we were attempting to cross our ankles lower ourselves to the floor and get back up without using arms, knees I was like a beetle that had landed upside down and could not flip back over We now have a family challenge to be able to do this by C......mas. I did 50 sit ups this morning to start to strengthen my core, well actually I had a bacon sarnie to build up strength to start tomorrow
I have just recovered from demonstrating that I could touch my nose with my right foot...as you do
